Zoopa is an online platform for filmmakers and artists and has invited us to develop a project for the contest Zooppa Mural. If selected, our design will live on 1 of 3 walls in Zooppa new workspace, in Seattle. We've developed 3 illustrations that can work as a trilogy, completing each other. Here is the concept of my submission:
It does not matter if we are designers, illustrators, architects, painters, writers or filmmakers. Whatever our art is and wherever we come from, when we want to create something powerful and meaningful, there are three “H” essential elements that need to work together, like an equation: Head, Heart and Hands. Zooppa is exactly that: it inspires us to get creative, be alert, passionate and imaginative. That way, if we always have present in mind these three “H” - the H Equation -, amazing things will happen, for sure.

H Equation (Heart) - Wall 1

Wall 1 is dedicated to the “Heart” element. It is a fertile heart, symbolizing the inspiration and passion we need to have while we’re working, if we want to create something great and emotional.

H Equation (Hands) - Wall 2

Wall 2 is dedicated to the “Hands” element, representing the act of creation, the practical work. After establishing an idea and a concept, “Hands” are the element that enable thinking to be visible and turn it into something real. That way, when passion (“Heart”), thought (“Head”) and work (“Hands”) are part of the same equation, an explosion of great things and projects will occur.

H Equation (Head) - Wall 3

Wall 3 is dedicated to the “Head” element, representing the imagination and thought that always take part of the work process. It can also refer to the meaning and concept we assign to our projects. Comparing to the other walls, this one has a particularity: it has a door. That way, the door completes the illustration, symbolizing an entrance to the head - to the imagination and thought.
