A project for an image methodology course which required implementation of the multidisciplinary skills in digital imaging learned throughout the course. I aimed to illustrate the love I have for hip hop culture by exploring its inherent symbols.

I drew inspiration from the act of going to the record store and crate-digging for albums from the perspective of a hip hop fan. The photography informed the look and feel of the illustrations from color palette to subject matter.
