Grand Raspberetta

Co-creator of award winning animation 'Grand Raspberetta'.

This project is a stop motion food opera. It looks as it sounds and that probably was the weirdest job description I ever gave to people throughout 2 years we worked on it. With a very small team of people ( me and my dear friend) we decided to explore what animation is. " Lets give it just a little try for a month " and as any other passion it lasted much longer than expected.
While love to jam was growing in our hearts we have been developing Raspberry Universe more and more cherishing every moment we shared with our characters.
After finishing writing, me - amature fine artist and aspiring graphic designer and Ksenia film maker and just someone with an absolutely brilliant mind - we started our most unpredictible adventure. My role included every single visual used in the project. Ksenia turned out to be a fantastic director, producer and visual editor. Working on visuals including character design ( baking facial mimics in my kithen oven and making lots of toasts), setting design ( cucumber streets and cereal roads), make up ( yes, I spent hours working on make up for a toast to make him similar to Commendatore from Don Giovanni opera) raspberry typeface , logo, posters and many other things you don't expect to face with.
Working side by side we met an amazing composer and singers who supported our secret jammy project and joined the pink community.
That were beautiful 2 years of living La Vie an Rose.

We love our Raspberry Universe a bit too much, so we had to create a little book .
It tells/shows you the stories about how the Raspberry choir members were eaten by di Catelli.
At this point I was drawing raspberries already for nearly 2 years, so my knowledge of anatomy of raspberries was perfectioned to
something similar to da Vinci's  Vitruvian Man
