The user went through a retirement calculator. Our site aimed to give them solutions to get to their ideal retirement age.

ABOUTLIFE
I was the Consulting Design Director at aboutLife.com, a fintech start-up based in San Francisco. Our goal was to make retirement planning easy, allowing people to retire earlier, richer or both.
My role at aboutLife was to define the brand direction, design the UI and ensure a smooth UX. I was heavily involved with all aspects of product design from conception to launch. I did wireframes, page flow diagrams as well as design screen layouts and produce assets; I was also a copywriter at times, focusing on clear and succinct messaging. I explored the design of data visualizations and explored new and innovative ways to present them. Much of my job was researching how data is digested and how user experience evolves as our technology becomes more streamlined.
As a final step, I reviewed the site in a staging environment to ensure design standards and consistency. I worked closely with all team members and love the atmosphere of a start-up, where innovation and teamwork rule.
