Each election year I volunteer with Kids Voting Durham to design their Candidate Guide. The guide is given out to students in area Durham County schools. Students involved with Kids Voting Durham write the content, including the questions candidates answer. I enjoy working on this project not only to give back in a small way to my community, but also it keeps me informed of the local candidates on my ballot.
