B R I E F // A specific element of the re-designed admissions experience developed for K-State Salina included a more aggressive approach to recruiting students pursuing degrees in the university's aviation program. The program is the most expensive to pursue at the university and has recruitment barriers not just from the program itself but from national regulations related to aviation. The K-State Salina campus is a member of an elite and exclusive number of schools who offer a bachelors degree in Unmanned Aircraft Systems. Additionally, because of the higher professional and financial investment required by students pursuing a degree in one of the aviation programs it was important to our admissions experience for those students to receive a specialized viewbook with specific information regarding these programs.
