For the first time in human history, most of the world's population lives in cities. We are so used to the urban noise around us that rarely notice what it consists of.
One of the main objectives of the Urban Soundscape project is to listen to the space around us.
The subject of the project is a sound environment of an imaginary city created on the basis of audio information collected in real cities. Familiar sounds of the city become tools of forming a new reality: they coexist or displace each other in the fight for a place on the sound map, interact through unexpected combinations and form a unique soundscape. Currently displayed at Antimuseum Exhibition in Moscow. Electromuseum (16/03/16-03/04/16)
