This was a group project which included myself and two other people. Our concept was to create an app that could charge you for swearing. All of the money would go to the charity of your choice. The idea was that if you do swear you will be helping a charity and therefore help combat your bad habit and make you feel less guilty. All setting on the app are customary so you can therefore choose how much you want to spend on a swear word as well as which words you want to monitor. Through research we discovered that many would feel uncomfortable with being recorded by their own phones, so what we decided to include was how you could monitor your swearing. The user would be able to decide whether to have full microphone access, phone and video calls only or no access allowed. They would also be able to connect their social media accounts. Another feature of the app is that the user could see where the most swearing was happening as well as how much the town has earned through doing so.
