This great event brings in hundreds of people within the Mennonite denomination and supports a well known local private school, Western Mennonite School. It requires publicity in the community, churches, businesses and homes, so the creation of many advertisement products is required. This year we created a brochure, poster, bulletin inserts, banner, and video.
The branding style came from the theme "Strengthen the Root, Bear the Fruit", a take on the Biblical verse regarding the fruits of the Holy Spirit. A splashy and colorful design felt necessary to convey the joy and lightness that is experienced at the auction. Being that it supports a middle school and high school, student pictures were used to showcase the concept within the materials: That by strengthening the students spiritually at Western Mennonite School, they will bear the fruits of the Holy Spirit. The audience is Christian supporters of private education.
