As capas dos discos dos Strokes naturalmente contêm referências visuais externas diretas, de fontes variadas. Percabendo a frequência de tal configuração, resolvi traduzir as artworks em pinturas feitas com tinta guache, de modo que pareçam originadas de um mesmo autor. A série "The Strokes (re)artworked" foi elaborada entre 2011 e 2012, quando a banda havia lançado apenas os quatro discos abaixo.
The Strokes' album covers naturally have direct external visual references, from various sources. Noticing the frequency of such configuration, I decided to translate their artwork in gouache paintings, in order to make they look like as if were made by the same author. This set was elaborated between 2011 and 2012, when the band had released just the four albums below.
