Crawfishing in South Louisiana

Crawfishing in South Louisiana is an exciting and beautiful experience. It takes a little hard work, but the result is juicy crawfish for dinner!
Patrick Boudrauex and Josh Delahoussaye are making there way out into the swamp to see if they caught any crawfish.
Here is Pat Boudreaux cleaning out his boat and bucket, prepping for the little critters.
Josh Delahoussaye is wading his way out to the traps to see if they have cought anything worth taking.
Delahoussaye has a few in this trap that was in shallow waters. They use corn to lure the crawfish into the cages.
Here is Boudreaux shaking the crawfish out of the traps and into the buckets.
This is one of the bigger crawfish! They two were very excited to see this big guy.
This is a closer look at the crawfish falling into the bucket as Boudreaux shakes the cage.
When a bucket is full, Boudreaux dumps the crawfish into a crawfish sack so they can continue filling up the buckets as they go deeper into the swamp.
Here is Boudreaux tieing up the bag and getting ready to head back home. He will sell the crawfish at a local market for around $90 a bag!
These crawfish are ready to go! They are ready for selling, cooking and eating!
