Eyenetra
Lensomer Mobile App - Health Care Industry
For this project, I had the pleasure of developing the first brand sketches during the time they were just a MIT project, which turned out to become a company with investment, where I again had the pleasure of helping develop marketing materials and working with other talented product folks to deliver the mobile user experience of the comprehensive eye exam app for technical and non-technical users in a consistent manner for thousands of languages.
The MVP, from the wireframe to a live code prototype only two screens
1st Iteration - Key learnings
✅ Because the user will repeat the reading test several times a day the intense blue is distracting and visually exhausting.
✅ The visual infographic is making the user place the glass frame in the wrong position.
✅ The result screen doesn’t seem like the end of the flow.
✅ Big numbers help to do a quick reading.
✅ Visual looks not professional.
Released and commercialized globally but still improving the experience
2nd Iteration - Key learnings
✅ The new menu helps the user to select the desired reading type faster.
✅ The light interface with short messages help the user to start reading lens without previous technical training.
✅ The animation and the new glass frame illustrations on the reading screen helps the user to place the glass properly.
✅ The new interfaces looks more like a health and trusted app.
Rethinking the flow and refining the experience over the steps of the lens reading process
3rd Iteration - Key learnings
✅ The horizontal slide menu was considered the more natural move by the users.
✅ The reading flow with the infographic and animation help the user to understand the movement and the place where are the reading zone for the frames.
✅ Sometimes the user will do a quick reading without doing the full comprehensive eye exam.
A seamless experience between the marketing channels and the products.
