Built a web app to help operators optimise maintenance decisions and quickly diagnose unexpected issues through remote health assessment and anomaly monitoring.

After the research stage, we moved to the testing phase as we built the landing page and an MVP app in two weeks to allow customers to receive health assessments of hydropower units written by machine experts. One of the challenges we faced was creating a flexible machine component navigation system to help the hydro operator have an overview of the condition of his machine using an expert health assessment.

The finds of the research with the power plant maintenance manager and the machine expert from Voith created an interesting set of possibilities. This collaborative effort between the maintenance manager, machine experts, and our team led to the development of a comprehensive software solution that revolutionised the way hydro operators monitor and maintain their machines.

the wireframes and refine the envisioned solution.

A four hands service blueprint was create to give to all the stakeholders, a common alignment about the envisioned solution and also how the overall integration between the Voith experts and the customer will interact

The stakeholders agree to move with the 2nd proposal but they challenge the team to prove the desirability of the concept building a MVP in 2 week to test the idea
Deliverables aligned internally: Landing page to promote the service, Simplified brochure two onsite visits, Application MVP to show a digital version of existing reports

2nd Week - A high-fidelity prototype and coding for the Reporting Application to promote the concept of the service were created.
✅ Generate in 24 hours the biggest amount of single page reporting experience using the predefined data structure
Based on the feedbacks we code and implement
the simplified 2 pages application

1. Customised login screen per power plant unit
2. The home screen shows directly the health status per part of the turbine.
3. A details page show a breakdown of the subparts of the turbine and the individual subparts health and some details recommendation and interactive graphs

💡Why not a turbine blue print?
During the 2nd round of feedback, we identified that the blueprint of the turbine model will not be available for the entire population of the model. VOITH provides expert services and also brings another challenge: asking the customer to find blueprints from the 1990s to be digital
