About the collection
Kolektif is proud to present its debut art collection that features photography blended seamlessly with tasteful other-worldly elements in creating a cornucopia of soothing and inspiring works of art. Carefully curated and meticulously designed, the entire collection features a number of ethereal pieces that transports audiences towards a sense of contemplation and wonder.
Set in Raja Ampat in West Papua, the collection not only showcases the awe-inspiring beauty of the natural landscapes, but also adds a deeper layer into the overall travel experience. With a setting that’s as beautiful as this, inspiration is in abundance; yet uncovering the underlying subtexts and lessons is just part of the great adventure.
After much deliberation and sifting through other destination alternatives, Kolektif finally settled to shine the spotlight on Raja Ampat particularly because it truly is one of the most beautiful destinations not just in Indonesia, but also the world. Visitors can be enveloped in a whole host of experiences that cater towards every type of person: the adventurers, divers, photographers, to even romance-seekers. Raja Ampat is truly a shining example even amongst other treasures.
In an effort to transplant art beyond the gallery, Kolektif is also proud to collaborate with Have Had –the enigmatic shoe designer company that produces intricately designed footwear that’s catered for people who are looking to add an extra layer of complexity in their wardrobe. Kolektif’s art pieces will adorn the in-soles of Have Had shoes in limited numbers. This one-of-a-kind collaboration is an example of how art can break barriers and exceed expectations.
