The above image (source) was used as reference for this project. The assignment was to produce a piece of "fanart" of professional quality that could actually be something sold as merchandise.

 

I chose the Cartoon Network show Steven Universe and digitally illustrated a version of a painting featured in the show. It was printed on canvas to drive home the idea of it being a painted portrait.
