Electric tow tractor
This project was commissioned by Czech company Viva, producer of electric tow tractors. The assignment was very strict and narrow with many technical requirements and technological limitations.
I spent many hours consulting with constructors to find the best solutions for the design.
Tow tractors can drag up to 25 tons and have many options of extensions like a snowblade, a sweeper, additional containers or wagons.
Viva wanted to design attractive and safe tractor which can be manufactured with low cost.
This concept has a wide front glass stretched form the rooftop to the bumper. Glass is divided into two pieces in case of breakage. Headlights are hidden behind the front glass and can be changed from the inside of the vehicle. Glass doors are designed to provide better view for a driver which is much needed while manipulating the vehicle.
All this features give Viva tractor modern, functionalist design which fits into factories and cities.
