Frankfurter Buchmesse

There is the greatest book fair in the world — Frankfurter Buchmesse, held each year in early October in Frankfurt.
Its first edition took place in 1473, establishing Frankfurt the European book capital.
For five days over 7000 publishers come to the fair from over 100 countries, among others Japan, Portugal, Russia, India and Turkey.

Our partner – the biggest Russian publisher AST – asked us to create the corporate identity which would represent Russia and Russian publishers at the Frankfurter book fair. In 2014 the main theme was Russian avant-garde. Our task was to combine matrioshka — the symbol of Russian participants at the fair — with one of the most well-known art movement.

Working with AST publishing house we also created the presentation video for Russian publishers at the Russian Publishers Party, which tells about Russia and the appreciation of literature in the country. We have compiled the most popular stereotypes about Russia and its traditions and made the avant-garde blockbuster.  Main characters are – Matrioshka, balalaika, the bear and, of course, Leo Tolstoy.
We are very hungrrrrrry for literature!
RUSSIAN PUBLISHERS PARTY 2015
In 2015 the theme of Russian Prublishers Party in Frankfurt was the Space, infinite and vast like Russian literature. So, we dress matrioshka, the symbol of Russian Publishers Party in a spacesuit and launch it in the Space.

Everyone has its own Russian literature — children and adults, dreamers and pragmatics, philosophers and travelers. Therefore, we create a presentation video to open the Russian Publishers Party, which shows the diversity of Russian literature and how infinite it is, just as the Space.
