Outer Mimes and Space Clowns don't get along.
A Space Clown captured by Outer Mimes may be transformed into a mime after being exposed to Striped Liquid. An Outer Mime may be turned into a clown after having a clown patch attached to them.

A person in the wrong place at the wrong time may get captured and turned into a clown or mime.
