We decided to use rather bold and vigorous engraving which provided the key to the emotional impact of this masterpiece of Vincent Van Gogh: the spirals in the heavens, the waving cypresses, the concentric starlight have all be recreated by means of deep, vibrant dents the tools have dug into the metal.
