These Photographs were taken last year, I was asked by a dance tutor at my university to take some portraits and action shots.of the dancers. They were taken in Grosvenor park in chester. This was the first time I had tried action shots for the dancers outside of the university, so this was a new experience for me. For the portraits I asked the dancers what kind of back ground they preferred, most of them asked for backgrounds with flowers and some decided just to have green shrubbery as their background which was more interesting than plain walls or back drops. For the action shots the dancers chose a section in the park which they liked and then they either posed, did some jumps or anything that they thought would be ok for their shots. As this was my first shoot with the dancers I was a little unsure on how the sesson would go but I am really happy with the outcome.
