Design Theme:
A vessel that exists between virtual and real.
Using the form taken from human's head, I created this vase with organic and floting shape. I'm interested in the combination of mankind's body part and a little bit of cyber punk style which create the feeling of existance between real and unreal. A sense of environmental concern is also included in this vase.
The brain area of the head is taken away as the negative space for the flowers. When the flowers are put inside, it's more like the figure's hair.
However, this vase is not really functional. The plant inside can never live since the negative space of the eyes actually goes all the way to meet the bottom part of the brain area.
In this case, whenever it rains(when you water it), the figure will 'cry' and all the life fluid will leak through the track.
