These two posters were one of the funnest and most serious pieces I have done. This was done for an Anti-Smoking Campaign. I used Sarah Murphy and Chris Charles as my models for these somewhat satyrical posters. These originally were billboards and I then made them as posters but can still be used for both. I wanted to keep the same theme for both posters, just a different color tone for each. For example Chris Charles poster is tones of red and brown, while Sarah Murphy’s color tones are purple and blue for conceptual purposes. I tried alot of ways to portray the “smoking is bad”” theme by using factual information about what smoking does to your living physical appearance as well as your life expectancy.
