My solution to the brief is to create an application titled ‘FIND’ which helps commuters find food and drink more efficiently, all the while discovering new places. Grabbing a cup of coffee and a quick snack is a popular activity when travelling to work and the search for food and drink can also become an incentive to travel in itself. Personally, I feel that commuting can become quite stale when stopping off at the same bistro or coffee shop on your way to work, or going to the same sandwich shop every lunchtime because we don’t always have time to explore somewhere different. We stick to what we know because making choices can only make the situation more stressful. Furthermore, it could be particularly daunting if it’s your first day of a new job and you don’t know the area, or if your lunch break has been cut short by half an hour; this means that a little guidance could go a long way.
The purpose of FIND is to store your most regular route and to find places to eat and drink based around that and based on your time and money budgets which you enter into the app. You can guide it to a particular genre of food and drink, or you can let FIND pick a place at random. Added features include the ability to take multiple coffee orders and the chance to share favourite ‘finds’ online with the rest of the FIND community.

FIND Lunch is one of four FIND catagories. All you have to enter is what kind of food/drink you fancy, how much time you have and how much you wish to spend and FIND will pick out several of the best places based one the information provided. From here you can view your map, pick which place you want to go to and favourite any places for future reference or to share online with other FIND users.
FIND Coffee: To find the best cup of coffee all you have to do is enter each individual order and FIND will store and add them up so you don't forget. Based on your order, budget and how much time you have, FIND will again locate the best place for you.
FIND Records: Places you have visited and/or added to your favourites are documented in the records feature. Here you can rate certain places, see what other users have recommended and view company details. You can also make important note and share your recommendations with others.
The bottom toolbar features: Settings - where you can upload your route. Random - let FIND pick any place for you. Offers - make your decision based on money saving deals. Records - access to recommendations, favourites and statistics.
The FIND website features a live feed which updates you with other users recommendations based around your location. People can upload images and comments to encourage others to go to the same place. Also there is 'most recommended' section which is a list of the most rated place from the past week.
