This is a series of 5 illustrations I made with a watercolor/gouache/pencils technique. The illustrations are inspired to one of my favored novels, My Family and Other Animals. It is an autobiographical story by naturalist Gerald Durrell, about the childhood he spent on the Greek island of Corfu between 1935 and 1939, which describes in a humorous manner the life of the Durrell family, as well as the rich fauna of the island.
