OTTERBERG CHURCH
I captured this image using a Sony FS700 with a focus of 250ft. I used a shutterspeed of 1/13 at an f-stop of 13 with  a focal length of Z30.
This image was cropped a little bit as a result of the instructor's critique. The crop has placed the church's cross on the left thirds line. It was sunset, and I had to sneak into someone's back yard to take this. I liked all the triangles surrounding the church, giving it an exemplified feeling of stability.
ADDICTED
I captured this image using a Sony FS700 at 3.5ft away. I used a shutterspeed of 1/16 at an f-stop of 4.5 with an ISO of 400 and a focal length of Z21.
I shot this portrait of my husband playing video games. After a batch of portraits I had tacken didn't turn out as well as planned I was desperate for another photo to turn in for my assignment. I woke my husband out of a dead sleep at 2AM to pose for this.
BOULDERS
I captured this image using a Sony FS700 with a focus of 75ft. I used a shutterspeed of 1/4 at an f-stop of 11 with an ISO of 400 and a focal length of Z18.
I was in a bad mood when I finally got this shot. Earlier I had woken at 0430 and climbed to the top of a Lahndstuhl Castle guard tower to get a shot of the castle at sunrise, and right before the light was bright enough rain quickly ambushed us from behind and we were forced to retreat. We went trapesing through the woods in hopes of another opportunity, and ended up finding a large group of really cool moldy boulders. I had to climb down pretty far into the thick of it to get this shot.
TRACKS

DISCLAIMER: Taking photographs on and around railroad tracks is dangerous, and potentially deadly. In some areas it's even illegal. You should always coordinate with the proper authorities before shooting in these types of locations.

I captured this image using a Sony FS700 with a focus of 77ft. I used a shutterspeed of 1/4 at an f-stop of 22 with a focal length of Z18.
My husband and I had portraits taken on these tracks about a year ago, so when the assignment came up to do landscape photos this location came to mind right away. I just think it's absolutely beautiful with the trees on either side, and the tracks bending left.

LONG DAY ON THE SLOPES
I captured this image using a Sony FS700 at 7.4ft away. I used a shutterspeed of 1/4 at an f-stop of 16 with an ISO of 400 and a focal length of Z38.
I took this deep depth of field shot of my husband after a long weekend on the Swiss Alps. When we returned home I had a few more shots to get for my composition assignment, and he just so happened to be set up in the perfect position for this shot.
RANGER
I captured this image using a Sony FS700 at 8.2ft away. I used a shutterspeed of 1/4 at an f-stop of 6.3 with an ISO of 400 and a focal length of Z99.
This was a shallow depth of field shot of my awesome dog, Ranger. I was following him around the house for an hour and a half with a really bright light in his face. He finally gave up and layed down. He wasn't actually asleep, he was trying to keep the light out of his eyes. I really liked the triangles created by his face.
SUPER MOM
I captured this image using a Sony FS700 at 22ft away. I used a shutterspeed of 1/4 at an f-stop of 10 with an ISO of 1000 and a focal length of Z34.
This was a self-portrait I shot in my back yard using an outdoor flood light attached to my house. My husband actually came up with the concept of having the toys laying around, and I thought it would be cool to be in uniform as to add to the story. Our plan was to take the photo at sunset, but the sunset never seems to last that long when you are taking pictures.
TYFFANI ON THE ALPS
I captured this image using a Sony FS700 with a 1/16 ND filter at 9.1ft away. I used a shutterspeed of 1/320 at an f-stop of 6.3 with an ISO of 400 and a focal length of Z26.
This is a portrait of my friend Tyffani shot on top of the Swiss Alps. I tried to emmulate some pictures I found online; that's where I got the idea for using the sun as the backlight. We had a small reflector to bounce the light for the key lighting, but it was much too small. It helped, but obviously not enough, because my instructor suggested that next time I have one. I had to dodge her face a bit in photoshop.
EVERY DAMN DAY
I shot this edited short with a Sony FS700 at 24 fps and a shutter speed of 1/48.
I had a lot of challenges with this short, lighting and audio, just to name a few. I got the idea from other shorts I had seen, and just added my own twist. The assignment was focused more so on the different shots. I had to include 14 specific shots including:
Extreme Wide Shot
Wide Shot
Medium Wide Shot
Cowboy
Medium Shot
Medium Close Up
Close Up
Extreme Close Up
Cutaway
Deep Depth of Field
Shallow Depth of Field
Over the Shoulder
High POV
Low POV

We all had a lot of fun filming this. I hope you all enjoy!
