Waterproof [Spanish Waters]

The distressing sensation of swimming in a sea where you do not know what's underneath. Forcing your legs to move faster, forcing your eyes to distinguish in between different tones of dark blue and any tiny movement that could be potentially too dangerus.

Quietly, your body starts to sink in your own fear, your legs are out of energy and your eyes can not focus anymore. The water starts to reach your neck, and after that, your eyes get full of salty water. As you fall, you can still see the surface with those intense bright colours, and warmer waters. When losing conciousness seemed imminent, you remembered that earth's map you keep, full of dreams and plans. You've been ultimately so focused just paying attention to the mountains and those routes that you forgot to look to the big light blue area. There are more water than dry land. Suddenly, you take impulse and almost out of oxygen you dive in surface's direction.

When I got to a new sea's area, the fresh water embraced me as it has been missing me for a long, long time. My cheeks got flushed and my skin started to tan. Finally, joy.
