How to draw Charlie Brown

This project is an appropriation of Charles M. Schulz, the creator of the Peanuts, that comments on drug and alcohol abuse. There are 4 accordion fold booklets that are step by step how to draw the Peanut characters. The characters are Charlie Brown, who is drinking, Snoopy and Woodstock, who are smoking, Lucy, who is doing cocaine, and Pig Pen, who is doing meth. On the back there are facts of what the relating action are doing on the front. For example, when you are drawing the head of any character on the back are facts relating on how that drug or alcohol affects your head/brain. Speech bubbles and thought bubbles are used to relate to comic strips. Colors relate to the characters with an off set on some to show when newspapers were printed they weren’t perfect. Paper used is newsprint drawing paper. They are packaged wrapped in newsprint with my printed comics and tied with twine relating back to when newspapers were held together by twine. Font was the Peanuts. My target audience is anyone who enjoys the Peanuts, anyone who enjoys drawing, or anyone who has a drug and alcohol abuse problems and wants information and a way to get help.
