A Brief Awareness is a miniature two-color letterpressed book using an excerpt from Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy. It tells of a whale and a bowl of petunias coming into existence in the air above the Earth and its coming to terms with itself and its surroundings, throughout its very brief lifespan. Printed by myself on a Vandercook Universal using photopolymer plates from Boxcar Press that I had designed digitally.
