These are the designs of two internet banners, for some work I had with a client Charles Trippy (Daily video blogger on YouTube). I worked allong side a visualised specification of some ideas he had, as well as some of my own input on how to develop his original ideas. This is a custom composition tailored to represent the client's YouTube content in general (having to produce illustations of existing tattoo art). 

Overall an enjoyable project, and a great lesson in communication with clients.

A lighter aproach towards the original version, showing a higher contrast between the background and text. The client prefered the darker design.
