Malaysian Anti-Racism Poster: What Do You See?

Anti-racism poster created for Research Project (college assignment). It was aimed to provoke anti-racism sentiments in Malaysia. Line artwork was used for the depiction of Malaysian faces representing Malaysian multiethnical diversity, coloured digitally. On the left half, barcodes with common Malaysian race categories were used to show how we commonly categorise Malaysians by race which leads to stereotyping and prejudice, ultimately to being "divided" shown by the large barecode. On the right the same picture is shown but the individual races replaced with simply "Malaysian" which would lead to us being "united" as Malaysians; instead of divided by race. The poster title challenges us"what do you see? it's your choice" asking us if we see ourselves and others as race or as Malaysians; as divided or united. The "our" in "your" highlighted transforms "it's your choice" to "its our choice",  emphasising the sense of unity.
