Project notes:
To create an identity and to design a promotional/educational pamphlet to accompany the touring exhibition, Beautiful Monster: Beasts and Fantastic Creatures in Early European Prints. The exhibition brought together approximately 50 European prints from the fifteenth, sixteenth and seventeenth centuries. The creatures, beasts and human forms range from handsome to hideous, real to fictitious, strange to surprising.
An exhibition identity was establish for the space and a 6-panels foldout was designed to work as a recto verso folding pamphlet. With an appropriate design, the pamphlet unfolded showing one side a small educational handout and showing the other side a detail list of works.
