This project is a collaboration with AIPD Onlus (section of Rome) , the Italian association of persons with Down syndrome. The project called " I Circoli " wants to create situations of independence and autonomy in everyday life. The goal was to design and create a product for fundraising during Christmas time. The project is entirely made by members of the association with the silk screen printing.
The illustration design is made with the guys of "I Circoli". We have identified elements that represent their daily experience with the association. The clock shows the time of meeting, the bus to arrive at the house, the bed, fork and knife are the moments spent together. The symbols are surrounded by keywords: transformation, indipendence, fun, future, be togheter.
They represent the mission and objectives of the project that the kids want to achieve in their lives .

We design the illustration together. During the first step we designed the symbols, after we wrote the concepts.
After an explanation of the silk screen technique, we mixed the colors and we started to print the shopping bags.
