Print Marketing Campaign - Montana Chef

With the release of the MontanaChef.com website I wanted to help this client create an offline component that would help to introduce his services to the target audience. He was on a tight budget, so instead of utilizing mass media, I took a more personal approach.

We targeted key influencers throughout the community and hand-delivered boxes of cookies to them that Chef Jeff had personally baked. Each box of cookies was accompanied by an introductory letter, a recipe card containing a recipe for one of the cookies, and a bulletin board flyer that was available throughout the city.
The bulletin board flyer has several different images that highlighted a menu item from the chef's repertoire.
Recipe cards were printed 4 to a page on heavy paper stock, before being cut to their final size.

The web link on the card invited the recipient to suggest another community member or friend who might enjoy receiving the same package.
It also offered an opt-in option to join the Montana Chef email newsletter or connect on social media.
I took this opportunity to design a simple letterhead for the client. I performed the copywriting on this piece as well as delivery to the printing press.

It was important to me that the introductory letter to be able to stand alone - outside this campaign - so that the client could reuse the piece and reduce his overall costs. I also delivered the letterhead template to him in a format that he could print at home for other use.
