Apptricity Corporation
Web / User Interface Developer / Marketing
Apptricity is a small software developer in the Dallas-Fort Worth area specializing in SaaS / Cloud solutions in Financial Productivity, Supply Chain Management/Logistics, and eProcurement.  They do a lot of work for the government and for large corporations including the Department of Defense and WalMart.

As a UI/Web developer and a member of the marketing team, I worked on nearly all aspects the website, their marketing endeavors, as well as the interface their products.

For their website, a Joomla 1.5 based website, I was responsible for taking the Lead Designer's concepts for the website and translating them into HTML and CSS.  I adapted their existing template and added custom CSS layout to create a magazine-style layout for the inner pages.

For their products, I worked both with traditional HTML, CSS, and JavaScript as well as Java and a Java framework called ZK.  I also worked quite a bit on accessibility and cross-browser compatibility for MSIE 7 - 9, Safari, Chrome, Opera, and Firefox.

I also participated in inbound marketing efforts including:
For the inner pages, I created a magazine style layout with 2 and 3 columns.  To accomplish this, I used floating div's and CSS.
CSS based graphic accomplished using floating divs.  The CEO requested no-right-click protection for the images.  Not wishing to rely on this for accessibility reasons, I went with a CSS alternative. The actual images are background images with clear gif images on top.
JQuery-based slideshow for the SOA (Service Oriented Architecture) -- Based on the Orbit slider code by ZURB.  The round slides are accomplished utilizing CSS3.
HTML Email Template used July - December 2010 with ActOn and Campaign Monitor
An banner used November 2010 to promote a webinar hosted by Apptricity
