This project was meant as a material exploration for a lighting project. Students were given a spider ring to create a unique light fixture that would create some sort of effect with light. This light fixture is made of repurposed dividers from a CD rack . Each divider had holes strategically placed around the edges to link to each other using clear fishing line. The interior of the frame is lined with light diffusing styrene. The first image shows the fixture with a blue bulb and the second image uses a white bulb.
