So was commissioned by Auschwitz-Birkenau Foundation to create a fundraising campaign in support of the preservation of the camps for future generations. The campaign included  a series of photographs and a case bound book which was sent to governments and donors around the World. The campaign raised €90million and won So a D&AD Pencil Award and an Association of Photography Award for best photographic series.
