These vases were inspired by aquatic forms. Hot glass reacts very much like thick honey to gravity, having a very organic shape when not being manipulated. Using this natural movement, I blew the glass into a mold made out of rocks, and then shaped the vase with a brick, paddle and other large rocks I found by Lake Michigan. Below are just a couple of my favorites that I have made.
