IMPLEMENTATION PROCESS (motion graphics) | Staples Implementation Team (internal project)
Developed an informational 2D animation video (3 minutes) that the client could use to train new account managers. The client provided our design team with a script and basic premise for the animation. Our team brainstormed together and developed the overview story of a person driving down a road with their car going through various transformations as they moved through the “process” being described in the video. We then created a set of storyboard panels, compiled a list of all graphics that needed to be created in order to move forward with the animation process, delegated tasks based on individual strengths, and recorded the voiceover audio using the client’s script.
Vector graphics were created in Adobe Illustrator. Animation was set up in Adobe After Effects. My main roles were to create vector graphics for the various road signs, the tunnel, and backside of the car. I then assembled and animated roughly 75% of the video while another team member worked on the remaining 25% of the animation.
