This University project was total typographic freedom. We had to write the copy, interpet our own copy and then display it appropriately. I chose an old Japanese Samurai Legend and wrote a piece of fiction about the legend. The story was in three parts: 'Two Samurai,' 'The Storm' and 'The Calm.' Each part had it's own style and this was displayed in a different style within each book. Hours spent kerning: too many.
