These DVDs were developed around four designers: Louise Fili, Jessica Walsh, Jessica Hische, and Paula Scher.  These women all created their own success by working beyond software and the computer screen, and making truly remarkable work in the physical world.  All four of these covers are unique, utilizing a horizontal format and a strong focus on photography.  I staged and photographed all images seen on the cover.  For Louise Fili, I focused on her love of Italian design and food, as well as her creative wanderlust for finding old world lettering and developing sophisticated logos from that inspiration.  Jessica Walsh has a very wild, colorful, bold style of working, often working in a way that blurs the line between artist and designer.  Jessica Hische is a proud letterer, and utilizes her strong drawing skills to create unique and beautiful letters.  Paula Scher is known for playing with the environment and new ideas, always pushing the norm and trying new things.  I sought to encapsulate the artistic legacy of each of these women in these photographs and the overall DVD cover.
