Floods // Vodacom

In February of 2015, Mozambique was once again affected by devasting floods in the north an center of the country.
Vodacom felt the calamity and challenge us to develop in 5 days a campaign that could help gathered donations in behalf
of the isolated and affected population.
 
Because we are in Africa, it's more difficult for people to donate money at ATM or via bank transfer, because not everyone as a bank account and the ATM are few and mainly present in the cities. In the other hand almost all Mozambicans have at least one cellphone.With that in mind we arrange a method for people to donate their cellphone credit and convert into money that would be delivered to Nacional Calamity Institute to help recover homes, schools and bridges.
 
With illustrations made of mozambican red soil we appealed emotionally to people to dial *184*amount#
and help the fellow citizens. The campaign achieved 2.000.000 MT in just three weeks.
