HEIGHTS vol. 63 no. 1 Call for Contributions
Brief
Create a set of themeless posters promoting the start of submissions for Heights first regular folio of the year. Before this set of posters, the promotional materials for the Call for Contributions was always based on a concept, which was then translated into a theme.
Concept & Process
Since the prompt was now themeless, I decided to approach the project by creating typographic posters.
I centered the posters on the phrase “submit to Heights.” Using the letters themselves as visual elements, I played around with their forms. There are no other elements aside from the letters themselves so as not to allude to any sort of theme or iconography.
