This interactive table shows the history of important inventions that have influenced the progress of human civilisation. These inventions are categorised by the various root elements they are derived from. Each element is represented by a physical object, e.g. a candle to symbolise fire, and when placed on the table, various inventions that were influenced and linked to the element. When 2 objects or more objects are placed near each other, the combined inventions that require these 2 or more elements will show in its place.
