"At Rest"

 

This little sleepy muse was a sculpture that I created for Amtgard. She is polymer clay and vellum. A sweet, peaceful scene, she was a glimpse into the world of Faerie.

 

This sculpture was one of the first times I really played with the environment which I carried into the Siren sculpture and several others I've done. I also think she was the first step in really visualizing things in three dimensions. As I develop comics, partiuclarly if I do a fairy comic, she will remain present in my mind. She was a gift to a good friend for their Knighting.
