Batman-themed deck of cards + posters
A Batman-themed deck of cards I made in school. Our task was to create personalized, VIP invitations for an event of our choosing. These invitations could not be mailable, They were supposed to be “hand deliverable,” and “worth keeping.”
Since we could make invitations for whatever event we wanted, I decided to invent one. I came up with a scenario where the Joker, having captured Batman, was going to unmask him live in front of all of Gotham City. To raise awareness for his scheme, the Joker would flood the city with posters, and the rest of Batman's villains would receive playing card-like invitations.
Each card in the deck was a personalized invitation sent by the Joker to the rest of Batman’s villains. Since supervillains aren't listed in the yellow pages, the cards would be disseminated throughout Gotham’s seedy underworld (the plan being that the decks would pass themselves along, making their way from thug to henchman to supervillain).
