J.R. Burke Salon needed to expand their marketing outreach and broaden their clientele, so I was hired to update the brand and help with marketing and promotion efforts surrounding a salon renovation. I kept the Copperplate typeface of the existing logo, and added a flourish that provided a soft contrast to the logotype.
I was responsible for website design and edits, a monthly e-blast newsletter, and all marketing materials and newspaper ads. I photographed images for salon use, and launched a Facebook page to improve customer reach.

"I got to work with Tammy at the JR Burke Salon. She is so very talented. She made the most beautiful flyers, menus,& business cards for us, she has that eye for detail! She also was a computer guru for our website and email blast! Always came up with fun catchy sayings and promos for the salon. She has a way with words that most people want." (from LinkedIn)
Logo and storefront update
The rebrand and salon renovation accompanied the relaunch of Burke's marketing materials. I updated the logo with a slightly adjusted Copperplate typeface, and added the flourish of "hair."
Business cards
4-inch square business cards, with appointment reminders on back.
Brochure and menu of services
Designed to bleed for initial printing, but also easily printed on office printer (no bleed) as needed. Single-color design allowed brochure to be printed in grayscale or using Pantone ink.
Promotional cards
Clients who referred new customers to Burke Salon were sent a thank-you postcard, to be used on their next visit to the salon. New clients received a card with a discount on their next visit.
