DESIGN (BROADCASTING)
In 2013 I worked part-time for Monumental Network, preparing still screens that were inserted into web broadcasts. I collected statistics and content from team sites and placed into templates developed for specific shows. For many screens, I masked images of players to include on the screen, as shown. Most of my work was done under tight deadlines, since I supported both daily and weekly broadcasts.
Monumental Today was a daily newscast; each morning, I would create screens featuring sports scores, player stats, and other sports-related daily news.
Capitals Report was a weekly newscast featuring news about the Washington Capitals. I created player stats screens, which required masking players' images for the layout.
Press Row (above and below) was a weekly newscast that showed team schedules and other trending topics in DC-area sports.
I often created customized screens for special features; here, I created an On-Air screen for several players for the Wizards Radio Network show.
