This was a ridiculously fun but challenging project.  I thought I would pull my hair out at several points.

I made these guitars entirely from Mohawk Superfine Ultrawhite paper as a Christmas/holiday gift for each of my guitar teachers because, well, they each put up with me for a whole semester (I know that took a ton of patience)...but mostly out of appreciation because I think teachers don't always get the credit they deserve. The two paper guitars are modeled after traditional classical guitars, and each one has a different inlay design on the rosette.  I don't think I'll ever do this again.  Hope you enjoy!
Detail of inlay for first guitar: Ginkgo biloba leaf motif
Detail of inlay for second guitar: Eighth notes motif
Detail of body and "wood grain"
Detail of strings over the sound hole (strings are all different widths, as they should be)
"Stringing" the guitar
The most fun part of this, but also the scariest when you realize your hands are shaking
