Making a rookie mistake by not preparing adequately a day before the meet, without a tripod and a flash it made automotive photography a nightmare. Being a bit late (arrived 8:30ish), the sun was setting; we took our time photographing the fourth floor of cars, forgetting that the big scene was happening on the rooftop. Of course, by the time we reached the rooftop it was almost 9:30, and, absolutely regretting forgetting the rooftop, VIP members and much more stanced cars were leaving early. Darkness and no image stabilization is a bad combination, but I still managed to snap some shots. It took approximately an hour for everyone to leave the parking lot. Nevertheless, the outcome of the last meet of the year was incredible!
