The Missions Conference is annual event designed to highlight the over 50 missionaries that Northside supports. It was decided that for 2013 the church would broaden the scope of the conference to appeal to the community beyond the walls of the church, and highlight the importance of missions. Two prominent speakers were asked to be the keynote speakers for the event, Dr. Johnny Hunt and Dr. Joe Brown. My task was to not only come up with promotions for the event, but also to plan the theme, staging, and all other aspects of the event
To help highlight the more than 50 missionaries Northside supports, I designed a two-piece prayer card featuring each missionary. The portion on the left of the card could be torn off and taken home to be placed in a prominant place in the house. The back of that section featured the missionaries names and details. The right section of the card had a space for attendees and members to commit to pray for the missionary. These would be attached to a "Pray" board by the member showing their commitment to pray (see photo below).

We created three-dimensional boards with the conference theme of "Pray, Send, Give". Each board had a different purpose during the week. The "Pray" board would be where those who committed to pray for our missionaries would tack their names and commitment to the board. The "Give" board featured hooks with needs the missionaries had. Church members could pick needs from the board and bring them on "Missionary Christmas" night and shower our missionaries with the needs they had. The "Send" board showed trips that members could go on
